I could be wrong as this was a long time ago, but wasn't the Powerbook 150 the first Mac with an IDE hard drive?

Apple-history.com says both the Quadra 630[1] and PowerBook 150[2] came out in July 1994. They claim the Quadra 630 was first, and it seems to support an older OS, so this is probably true. I'm not 100% sure, though. --Steven Fisher 08:11, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Aha...I checked out the Apple Web site, and it looks like both were released on the same day (July 18, 1994).[3] [4] So, I guess either could make the claim to be the first IDE Mac. --FrankG 10:04, 6 August 2005 (EST)
