Hello. Looking through this article, I will have to quickfail per Criteria #1 of WP:GAFAIL "It is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria". Specifically, this article fails the Broadness criteria by not "[addressing] the main aspects of the topic". I have also found an accuracy issue and have a clarification comment as well, but they are not my main concern. Here is my review below:

Broadness check in Olympics overview sections[edit]

1988: Good
1992: Missing results of all 7 competitors.
1996: Missing results of the 400, 800 and 1500 meters for athletics, 50 metres freestyle for swimming
2000: Missing placings for all 4 competitors.
2004: Missing placings for all 4 competitors.
2008: Missing placings for all 8 competitors.
2012: Missing placings for all 5 competitors. Ahmed's quarterfinal appearance in the 100m is the most important part that is missing.
2016: Missing placings for 200 meters in athletics, 50 meters freestyle and 100 meters freestyle for swimming
2020: Good

Other comments[edit]

Amir, Ismail, Riyaz and Shageef participated in the 1996 4x400 relay, not the marathon.
I think it should be clarified that Razzaq competed in badminton during 2020, as women's singles were also held in tennis.

Overall[edit]

For minor issues, the Maldives athletes competed in the 4x400 relay during 1996, not the marathon. For the 2020 Olympics, it should be clarified that the women's singles event that Razzaq appeared at was for badminton.

For major issues, 5 out of 9 Olympic appearances are missing results/placings for all of the competitors in this article (1992, 2000-2012). Two additional sections are missing some results (1996 and 2016). As more than half of the Olympics overview sections are missing information, I will have to fail this due to being a long way from passing the broadness criteria. Once the broadness issues have been resolved, this article would be a better GAN candidate. I hope you are encouraged to fix these issues and renominate this article. Thank you for submitting this article to GAN!
