My name is Lisa (Stokes)adc#109097 Floyd, I had the unfortunate opportunity to "visit" MCCTF, in 1994-1996, while there I had to opportunity to meet and get to know some of the Corrections officers, that helped me to do my time and taught me how to stay out. the officers that helped me the most were Espinoza, Griffith, Hillburn and Melindez.. I've no idea if they are still there, but would love to tell them all thank you for making my time there as good as prison life can be. Thank you for all the "talks" we had, and thank you for helping me through the worst time in my life..
Since my release in May 1996, I have married a wonderful man, had another beautiful daughter, and now have a beautiful granddaughter as well. I have been in absolutely NO trouble for more than 16 years now and am proud to say that I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ANY JAIL/PRISON AGAIN.. Too many inmates cannot say that but I am proud to say it.. I learned many lessons while there and have applied them to my daily life now. I work every day, for a healthcare agency in Texas now, and love my job, it is very gratifying to see the looks on my clients faces everyday, knowing that they depend on me for everything they get makes me proud as well.
If any of the C.O's I have mentioned are still there, PLEASE tell them thank you . And thank you to MCCTF for the lessons learned... and I am successful in my job, life and love...I am not one of the statists, I did NOT fail, I am a productive member of society...They may also find me on facebook, at the name on this letter.. Thsank you...
Thank you sincerely,
Lisa R. Stokes (#109097)Floyd
