Re: Not well known by general public

I would take minor issue with the statement, "Although Dolciani is not well known by the general public..." I would suggest that she is actually better known than that. Several generations of high school students will recognize the name almost immediately, having learned their primary algebra from her books, including Modern Algebra: Structure and Method, which was a standard text within many school boards during the 1960s and 1970s.
