Talk:Matthew Sutcliffe

The statements about his chop-logic and abuses of Roman Catholic clergy sound like they were written by Roman Catholic clergy.

Maybe using the phraseology "invective argumentation" is more appropriate than surmising the merits of his arguments with which the biographer conveniently and scornfully disagreed with Sutcliffe on. Catholic apologists argued as polemicists with as much invective as the Protestant Matthew Sutcliffe.

The comment is referenced. It is better to find a second reference that contains a different opinion. If such criticisms of Sutcliffe are in reliable sources, they can appear in the article. Charles Matthews (talk) 07:47, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
