Disambiguation page?[edit]

Should this be a disambiguation page that links out into the various incarnations and iterations of the LS&GC Medal for the United Kingdom, the Empire and the Dominions? EricSerge (talk) 03:39, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's the eventual intention, EricSerge. Not yet, though, since there are still a couple of articles that I'm working on that I need to complete first. Give me another week or two, and I should be done. In the meantime, there are already two disambiguation pages that serve this purpose, Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (disambiguation) and Long Service Medal. -- André Kritzinger (talk) 11:55, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Andre Kritzinger: sounds like a plan. Once you have all of those articles spun off then it would probably make the most sense to move Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (disambiguation) to Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. @EricSerge:: I'm getting started on that one (Long Service and Good Conduct Medal) as we speak, I've just got "done" with the Royal Air Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal‎ this afternoon. Any awards made during reign of Edward VIII?=[edit]

Were any medals awarded during the ten month reign of Edward VIII? Surely some Army rankers achieved the qualifying length of service and had the award applied for during that time? If none were actually awarded, this article should say so. It would warn collectors off medals purported to have been awarded during his reign as bogus forgeries.Cloptonson (talk) 19:41, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
