hi

his correct name is Medhi Benatia, not Mehdi Benatia

sources:

his official twitter account -> https://twitter.com/MedhiBenatia

his official club page -> http://www.fcbayern.de/de/teams/profis/medhi-benatia/index.php

also official UEFA page -> http://www.uefa.com/teamsandplayers/players/player=250075724/profile/index.html

bayern once posted his birth certificate on facebook where his name was Medhi... sadly i cant find it anymore.... :/ but its important that wikipedia has his correct name because all journalists that write about him check wiki for his name and spell it wrong....

What about this facebook account ? Doctore (talk) 23:23, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
The Arabic version of his name currently says "Mehdi" but the English says "Medhi". Someone should correct this. 65.112.10.239 (talk) 22:54, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
@Doctore:, the facebook page did not have star in it, it may just set up by his fans, unlike twitter account which had "star status", moreover, naming convention are more concerned on secondary source for the "common name". Matthew_hk tc 10:47, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
The official name of Benatia is "Mehdi" and not "Medhi" Brio (talk) 09:49, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
@Brio: Medhi Benatia was the correct spelling according those reliable source, plus Juventus, BBC, La Gazzetta dello Sport and other reliable secondary source. Matthew_hk tc 10:36, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
