Needs expansion[edit]

This article needs more information on the psychopharmacology and cardiopharmacology of the drug. How does it work, what are the risks, why is it in so much use in Eastern Europe but not anywhere else? 85.11.150.166 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 11:06, 21 November 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Validol[edit]

Please take a look at this: http://www.springerlink.com/content/k7373762507j1046/ and this http://www.wipo.int/pctdb/en/wo.jsp?wo=1998046219. So, it's NOT methyl valerate, but menthyl isovalerate. --FK1954 (talk) 20:00, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed wrong informations. --FK1954 (talk) 20:07, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plasticizer[edit]

I don't think that such a volatile compound is very useful as a plasticizer. Any reference available? --FK1954 (talk) 18:55, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The search term VALIDOL should not be redirected to this page. The ingredient in Validol is meNthyl valerate not methyl valerate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.87.10.101 (talk) 21:16, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
