Where is criticism?[edit]

A criticism section would be warranted. Even MS itself considers MMC a shame from the point of user-friendliness and weird logic. Most software that are MMC-based are enterprise software, because the abysmally convoluted logic of MMC requires dedicated, full-time admins not to make mistakes.

Clearswift, the doayen of gateway content filtering had the MMC-based control MSWP product for like 15 years and then they went for a linear logic, browser based admin GUI because sysadmins got sick from the many mistake after losing their way in the multi-tiered MMC logic + roduct logic maze.
