Note: I've added this article to Category: Canadian copyright law, not Category: Canadian copyright case law because although there was a Canadian case, the interesting one was in the USA, and both were settled out-of-court without creating a binding precedent of "case law". Nonetheless, the case is relevant to copyright law in Canada as one of the first involving the issue of whether reverse engineering violated copyright. 00:20, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
