RAF aircraft outside the UK[edit]

Does anyone have a source for the numbers and locations of RAF aircraft outside the U.K.? I have a conflicting text (3, all in India), but am not particularly inclined to trust it. Also have acquired an elderly but good quality photo of ZK-AFH when new, am in the process of checking it is clear of copyrightWinstonwolfe 04:09, 10 February 2006 (UTC).[reply]

First flight[edit]

Was the first flight on 3 or 14 May 1936? Sources differ. Drutt 00:39, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The date is 14, as per Mondey. Drutt (talk) 12:09, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

International[edit]

Anybody know why the aircraft is categorised as International when it appears to be a British built aircraft ? MilborneOne 11:51, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No explanation so I have changed the Cats. MilborneOne 18:22, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Time travel[edit]

Having been sufficiently pleased with the first prototype's early performance, quantity production of the Whitney Straight commenced as soon as possible, a state which was reportedly achieved by April 1936

but the first flight was not until the middle of May!
