AKA badge![edit]

I think a link to the badge page is appropriate. But what this (and that) page needs is a more global context. There's nothing about how badges or 'military decorations' have developed, for example, in the Roman military, or non-American nations, etc. The one fleeting mention of the UK doesn't cut it. You bring up a very valid position. Perhaps try writing directly to an administrator, specifically on the Wikipedia Orders, Decorations, and Medals Project page. Another idea would be to bring it up on the Wikipedia Orders, Decorations, and Medals Project page. A third idea is to begin writing such a page in your sandbox.
