Orphaned references in Military of Mongolia[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Military of Mongolia's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

  • You have to read that Flightglobal 2011.There wrote Mongolia has got 25 Mi-24s,25 Mi-8s and 3 An-26s.Su-27's are already ordered[1][2].MiG-29s are too (ITAR-TAS and other many many sources are already wrote).You can search in Google.In armstrade didn't wrote many other military equipments. --General1962 (talk) 00:30, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ground and Air force of the Mongolian Armed forces[edit]

According to Law of Mongolia on Armed forces (enacted on 1st September 2016) Mongolian Armed Forces consists of two branches: Ground forces and Air force. In case of war situation Border troops, Internal troops and National emergency management agency will be reorganized into the armed forces structure. During peacetime Border troops and Internal troops are under direct control of the Ministry of the Jurisdiction and Home affairs, National emergency management agency is act as a independent government agency. Please do not add navy section anymore[edit]

Please do not add navy section anymore, because Mongolia is the second biggest landlocked country, therefore no navy. Sukhbaatar was originally used as tugboat for Khatgal-Khankh transport before 1990. Now she is property of tour company and being used for 2 hour closed-loop cruises in Khovsgol lake during summer. Crew members are not military personnel, but wear uniforms to create impression to tourists.Here is the information about ship in official owner company web page. Just because the country is landlocked, doesn't mean it can't have a navy (see Brown-water navy, or the Swiss navy). Furthermore, you have provided no source that the 7 sources which were provided are wrong in the article are wrong. Even if the navy is exclusively commercial now, it was still mentioned in the section that is used privately. Please thoroughly read what is written before removing it. Please make sure the sources about navy in Khovsgol lake is correct next time. Mongolia did not have a navy/marine army since the Yuan dynasty. Sukhbaatar ship has used before goods transport purpose and now used ONLY FOR TRAVEL PURPOSES and never used for military purposes such as patrolling. Personal accounts is not helpful, you need to have verifiable sources to support your claim. Plus, the section clearly states that it has been used commercially since the 1990's. Please read things through before reverting or removing them. Skjoldbro (talk) 14:15, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
