Hoax?

[edit]

The Old Rectory has recently been announced as an independant country, Old Rectoryland, as a constitutional monarchy. WTF is this? A yet another micronation hoax article? Does this town actually exist? jni 13:38, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

No Hoax.

[edit]

Old Rectoryland is a micronation. Yes, it's all a bit of fun, but it's also generated local interest/lowscale tourism. It's a feature of the village. Less a hoax or a malignant edit, more a 'fun fact'. [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.232.250.93 (talk) 22:16, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
