Muscle weakness/neurological failure

My quick reading on this subject is that dysarthria is the result of brain or nerve damage, and muscle weakness is just one possible effect of that damage. Dysarthria also produces overly tight muscles. It seems like the emphasis should be more on neurology and less on muscle condition. I don't feel quite up to making definitive statements in this field, but someone with more knowledge needs to step up. MarkinBoston (talk) 19:32, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
