Transport

[edit]

There is very little public transport serving Mount Temple. Flagline bus company operates a service from Athlone to Tullamore 4 times daily in each direction. This route serves Baylin, Mount Temple, Moate, Tobar, and Clara.

One taxi operates out of Mount Temple so for a Saturday Night it is advisable to book well in advance. However you may be able to persuade drivers operating out of Athlone or Moate to get you home on the night. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.125.111.194 (talk) 16:12, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anglo-Norman conquest (which year)

[edit]

According to this (and many other sources), the Anglo-Normans landed in 1169 and not 1171.--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 09:15, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
