Talk:Multiple images (gravitational lensing)

I started this article as I thought that the concept of multiple images is not so well described as Einstein rings. The main article on gravitational lensing barely mentions the concept. What shape of a gravitational lens will cause multiple images?, and what is the difference between lenses creating four as opposed to two images? are some of the questions that I would like to be answered in this article.Agge1000 14:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The multiple images are due to strong lensing effect. I think this topic should be incorporated in a strong lensing article. --Phlyming (talk) 02:36, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
