My understanding is that Mumijo is actually a Greek word, not a word of Greek origin

I strongly believe this page needs some scientific sources. Linking to two online shops with "mumijo" in the domain name isn't enough. 02:35, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Wrong formula[edit]

Ca Si [(K,Na) C4H10 CH20] - this is a horribly wrong formula. For example CH20 is impossible. What is more there must be some nitrogen and oxygen. It is possible to write a formula for single compounds but not for complex mixtures. It is the same as writing a formula of pie. The only way to give some chemical information is to write the percent of each element in the mixture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 16:46, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Snake Oil[edit]

I personally believe that Мумиё is a hoax of Soviet origin. At least, there are no reliable information what it actually is (albeit, many people offer it for sale :) ). Gritzko (talk) 13:00, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Notice of pending ProD[edit]

This entry seems to be impossible to Wikify. I'll give its supporters a week to attempt to bring it up to WP standards before I propose it for deletion. Bricology (talk) 06:16, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Well, I gave it 6 months, but no one managed to Wikify the entry, so I'm proposing it for deletion. It smells like pure snake oil to me.Bricology (talk) 08:13, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
I think you understand the term Wikify incorrectly, because the article seems wikified. Please explain in other words what do you mean.--tired time (talk) 16:09, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
It's Wikified but there aren't reliable sources for the article, just what would be an RS for an addition (a Mumijo-like substance found in Antarctica, not something that evaluates Mumijo itself), that doesn't support the article itself (it just assumes claims that only find support on snake-oil sellers' sites.).
