Opening comment[edit]

Great article, but please recheck your source regarding the phrase "Valley of the Dolls". In the 40+ years I lived in the Reno/Sparks area, the only place I ever heard refered to as the "Valley of the Dolls" was In the Dayton, NV area just outside Carson City. The Kit Kat and Starlight Ranches (both legal brothels) were the reason for the designation. I have never heard mustang called that. Thank you Teddi314

This article needs citation especialy for claimes about women being shoot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nukeguy04 (talkcontribs) 00:45, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Sexual Abuse[edit]

The article compared childhood sexual assault rates to a 20% "overall" rate, which seems to apply to general society. It seems like a pretty bold claim to make without a readily available source, so I took it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 05:57, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
