Now Muvattupuzha article is also occassionally attacked by Vandals..!sad but Reality.I humbly request all those Who Follow this Article,Please Revert or Correct the Original Article from Vandals.I wanted to start a discussion on this several months back.now, I have no other Options but to start sharing this here:

I have seen some anonymous are trying to vandalize the Article by adding their prejudices and their likes.case in question is the ip 155.56.68.214.He/She Wants to Add to portray a place "Kalloorkkad" as a main part of Muvattupuzha town.being from this town, I know that Kalloorkkad is 16kms from Muvattupuzha and is never a Part of this Town.by Suburban towns, We Mean Towns Less than 5-10kms Distance and Which are Integral of the Main town.

Muvattupuzhakkaran's statement that "Vadakkum Koor Kingdom and this Region is Called Keezh-Malanad or idanad this included current places like Kolenchery,Puthenkurish etc." to my knowledge is wrong. Kolenchery and Puthencruz is in Kunnathunad Taluk and parts of this Taluk was never under Vadakancore. Muvattupuzha Loksabha Constituency[edit]

Due to lesser amount of population growth due to high education and especially the decline of population in Syrian Christians and FW castes like Nairs in this taluka and nearby areas ,the Muvattupuzha Loksabha Constituency was dissolved.Now ,Erstwhile Constituency parts like Muvattupuzha,Kothamangalam are annexed to the highrange constituency of Idukki.the interests of Midland Voters cannot be heard now as the tag "idukki" will cover the western parts midlands like thodupuzha,kothamangalam and muvattupuzha.such a sad loss for Muvattupuzhakkar. 59.93.40.97 (talk) 01:42, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thodupuzha fans[edit]

Please stop editing Muvattupuzha article. Your town was a small junction in the 70s when Muvattupuzha along with Kottayam, Changanassery, Cherthala, Aluva were important towns. Remember your town has a puny 50,000 population after adding 40 sq.kms of area around the town! Also, the growth is artificial powered by political groups and that does not mean that you can simply destroy the history and glory of Muvattupuzha.

Muvattupuzha - it is 2nd after Palakkad to see a big urban grouping in the eastern side with continuous urban growth. Census 2011 also shows the UA (urban agglomeration) of Kothamangalam-Muvattupuzha which are twin-towns with a good hope to be a big city in the eastern region of Kochi. Thodupuzha or Palai are hill bound towns with the people typically are not exposed to urban living or lacks urbanization. I've seen hateful edits from wiki editors from Thodupuzha-Pala areas. Some of these fellows thinks that Muvattupuzha was unnecessary town in between Kochi and Thodupuzha(village outgrown into town). Let the time speaks - You cannot artificially grow such low urban region like Thodupuzha to a city.

Muvattupuzha is already dead now. Once Thodupuzha-Ernakulam sub urban high way materializes, muvattupuzha is just a stop over of the highway. Muvattupuzha doesn't have anything to offer to be attractive. Just a thickly populated region which has nothing to offer. Thodupuzha area is blessed with abundant land in the Municipal limits itself, plenty of fresh water, picturesque scenary, tourist places at 2 hours drive, supportive & suggestive administration, politically peaceful area, already established many industries which are running fine.
