NBA Live 09 Misinformation
Please do not post unverified information about NBA Live 09. I removed some information that was incorrect, in addition to being uncited. For instance, someone said that Dwight Howard will be on the cover; this is untrue, as he is actually under contract with Midway Games to appear on the cover of NBA Ballers Chosen One. Please monitor this situation and help me to keep unverified and erroneous information off of this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ShinyHubCaps (talk • contribs) 03:41, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Cover Art Chart
What happened to the table/chart with all the NBA Live covers since the beginning? Why was it deleted, that was the best and most viewed resource on the NBA Live Wikipedia article? Can someone please put that back up?
Colour choices in Xbox 360 version
The developers of NBA Live 07 (and 06) have failed to realise that purposely toning down the saturation of colours (on player's uniforms etcetera) is something that PlayStation 2 developers did in an attempt to simulate photo-realism on an underpowered machine. The Xbox 360 NBA Live games still use subdued (unrealistic) colour schemes regardless of trends in next-gen games to do otherwise - Madden NFL 07, NHL 07 and WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 all use vivid colours (in Madden for example the grass is noticebaly more saturated in colour on 360 than on PS2, as are the player's uniform and helmet colours). We should hope the developers don't continue to disregard this trend and use washed out colour schemes in the next-generation NBA Live 08 for Xbox 360 and PS3. This can't be included in the main article as it is a minor issue but it could remain here (on the discussion page) for clarification of the problem. Mr.bonus 18:13, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Okay, a new article has been made about the NBA Series called NBA Live '06. Remember, read it and post good comments on the discussion. All's cool, right. Ps. Ahung is a genius. To read about this outstanding genius go to User:Ahung. All's cool, man.
Generally good reviews? HA!

Questions with trivia
I've never had an NCAA Basketball game so I can't verify this, but shouldn't the Thomas & Mack Center appeared in one of the college basketball games before NBA Live of Arena Football.

Fair use rationale for Image:Nbalive08.jpg
Image:Nbalive08.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:29, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
NBA Live 2008
The release of NBA Live 2008 is scheduled for October 2.
I've removed Spanoulis as a listed cover athlete for '08. Very often illegal copies of the game are produced with unofficial covers, particularly PC versions of the game in European territories. No press release from EA lists him as a cover athelete, and I can find no corroborating source (say an interview with the athlete) to confirm. Additionally, EA only produces localised covers for territories where the game itself is localised - there is no Israel- or Greek-language of the game, hence no related cover (in contrast to Germany, France, and Spain, for example - those languages are supported). Given that Spanoulis was released from the NBA and was not under contract to a NBA team at the time the game was released, the fact that he would appear on the cover is unlikely. Additionally, the photo I was sent as evidence clearly shows a Champion logo on the jersey - Adidas is the official clothing sponsor of the NBA and a major sponsor for the game; there is no way a competing clothing manufacturer's logo would have been allowed to appear on any version of the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krisfulton (talk • contribs) 22:01, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
