As someone who isn't a health professional, I find this article quite hard to understand. I came here as part of my effort to understand what the various things called "trusts" are for in the NHS, and I am not a great deal wiser after reading this article. Is a Primary Care Trust a hospital? Is it a GP's surgery? GreenInker (talk) 07:03, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

List of former PCTs is more helpful as a separate itemRathfelder (talk) 14:13, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Agree, the list is long and a list; whereas this is an article, they should remain separate. Have removed merge tag. Have also left a 'seealso' tag in the article so that readers can travel to the list if so desired. LT910001 (talk) 07:37, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
