Cadbury incident[edit]

Somebody needs to write a section about Naomi Campbell's recent bout of butthurt in response to a perceived racist comment on the part of Cadbury, and the large amount of ridicule it has brought upon her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.48.78.217 (talk) 13:23, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Removal of information by an employee of a PR firm[edit]

A discussion of problematical removal of information from this article, by User:Alexdltb, can be found here: http://wikistrategies.net/sunshine-sachs/ -- John Broughton (♫♫) 15:48, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Are there plans to add this to the article since multiple sources now exist for this? (Including the BBC). Thanks Jenova20 (email) 10:15, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi Jenova, it was added by another editor but I moved it to the article about the PR man responsible for the problematic edits (too lazy to check, Sunshine something). In my opinion it doesn't belong here because it has nothing to do with Campbell's life or career, and she is not responsible for the actions of the firm she hired. As an aside, those problematic edits never even stood, because I edited the "negative" material back in when they were originally made. Prayer for the wild at heart (talk) 14:37, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, better at Ken Sunshine. Did you put it all back? I just put back some of that material that User:Alexdltb removed. Someone removed it again in the interim, perhaps? Ton of dirt at existing source "IE" - http://www.independent.ie/unsorted/features/long-legs-short-fuse-26281100.html e.g. "Branded by a 'Vanity Fair' columnist as "the biggest brat in the modelling business" Anything jump out as particularly noteworthy, or are we good? --Elvey(tc) 23:06, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
Dam, lost my contributions due to a flaky 'net connection/browser. :-( Recreated 'em. I also just started a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Ken_Sunshine_staff.--Elvey(tc) 00:41, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
Yeah I restored it all at the time, if anything was removed later it was probably by me. The Naomi Awards are a good addition. Prayer for the wild at heart (talk) 15:03, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

More Detail of Career[edit]

This article lacks the information about Campbell's career and I feel that is the case because she is a black woman. In America, black women are the most disrespected person. People would give anything to make sure black women are not successful or look successful, because privilege is power. To improve this article, I would recommend adding more about her career and more into depth with her charity work because that is what she does all of the time. Most of the time when Naomi is seen in the media it is because she did something good for charity or the fashion industry. She deserves better recognition than how this article portrays her. Naomi Campbell's website is the best way to learn about her life. It shows that she is human and even she, a supermodel can make mistakes.
