  1. ^ Numbers represent an ordering by significant words. Various colorings, defined here, differentiate National Historic Landmarks and historic districts from other NRHP buildings, structures, sites or objects.
  2. ^ Staff (2009-03-13). "National Register Information System". National Register of Historic Places. National Park Service.
  3. ^ The eight-digit number below each date is the number assigned to each location in the National Register Information System database, which can be viewed by clicking the number.

Louttit Laundry[edit]

I restored this to the main list, with a cite needed tag. Even if the building has been demolished, it may still be listed on the NRHP. Odd, but true, as I've encountered a number like it in my NRHP roadtrips around Florida. --Ebyabe talk - Health and Welfare ‖ 18:15, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

"Former" listings[edit]

Properties should only be moved to the "Former listings" if they have been formally removed from the National Register. Demolished properties (such as the Louttit Laundry, mentioned above), are still listed on the National Register. (See e.g. the state-maintained list of listings, where that and other demolished properties continue to appear.) Magic♪piano 14:35, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
