'free variation between [ʊ] and [ə]'[edit]

I'd be interested to see examples of this. I wonder whether it might be a useful notation in future to represent the vowel in strut which seems to be moving in a similar direction in Britain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 11:02, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
