I've done some literature searching and I can find no studies supporting any of the statements in the 2nd paragraph, and planaria are not suggested as negligibly senescence organisms as far as I can tell, so, if there are no objections, I'd like to delete that paragraph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaulGNelson (talkcontribs) 22:04, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

How about this 400 year old clam?

Agreed, I'll put it in the list. Darmot and gilad (talk) 11:00, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

I created Negligibly senescent organism (from info found at the category), before noticing this article. i am no good at merge proposals, getting it all mixed up. as long as the information is preserved, this article has the better title.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:52, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
