Where should this redirect?[edit]

Shouldn't this page redirect to Nestorianism? I know very little about the subject but that's what I wanted to know about when I looked it up. After a little time I'll change the redirection unless people object. Chris55 (talk) 19:35, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In most cases where "Nestorian" is used, it seems to mean, specifically, "Nestorian Christian", that is, "being a member of the Church of the East". However, in many other cases (for example the page Evagrius Scholasticus) it just means "related to the doctrine of Nestorianism", without implying affiliation with a Church. Although the two meanings are obviously related, neither is clearly the primary meaning. For now I've reinstated the redirect to Church of the East because it is more common, but actually this should be a disambiguation page. --Lambiam 13:22, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
