The demands for citation and the accusation of original research seem misplaced. The demand for a citation to establish the use of larger forces than a quartet in performance would strike any musically literate person who knows these pieces as unnecessary -let alone choral singers. Both sets are available on CD in both forms, and in a number of performances. The suggestion that the quartets are better liked than the solo songs probably does deserve clarification - it may be that choirs have difficulty dealing with the effect of a sudden contrast with a soloist. The accusation of original research is laughable - the use of the word dolce refers to the musical text itself and should be self-explanatory.Delahays (talk) 15:54, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
