Senate parliamentary groups[edit]

Hi Impru20, you recently reversed my edition to the parliamentary composition. The Standing Orders of the Senate states like this:

Section 27, 2 "When the members of a Parliamentary Group normally formed are reduced in number to fewer than six in the course of the parliamentary term, the Group shall be dissolved at the end of the period of sessions during which such reduction occurs."

I think that in the examples you gave me the number of senators was below six because as elections had been called, groups didn't mind to be dissolved. In the current situation, groups could be mantained until the end of the period of sessions, but should they arrive to that date with 5 senator the group will be dissolved. The senate's website has mantained those PSOE senators in those groups, so we can't assume that they will enter in the PSOE group because it may not happen. By the way, when you reversed the edit you also removed the senator of GBai. Cheers :) Basque mapping (talk) 21:51, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
