Many scientific notions have his name, and his works include major contributions to different branches of theoretical physics. Thus rated as high. Tamtamar (talk) 21:37, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov hamiltonian[edit]

Isn't he also known for the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov hamiltonian? I am not an expert in the field, I think it is broadly used in the context of theoretical nuclear physics. It is starting to get introduced in the field of quantum chemistry, as a solution of an RPA-like equation. It is one kind of energy density functional. Maybe someone with more knowledge on that topic can confirm/give some more details on that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.77.24.38 (talk) 12:51, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Dates of PhD thesis[edit]

Something is wrong about the dates given in the article. When he entered university in 1924 at 13, it's not possible that he finished in 1928 at 19. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.93.128.184 (talk) 11:06, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
