"Catalan countries?" Rousillon is a country? -- Zoe

Well, it was the northern part of the ancient Catalan kingdom (and I am quite sure the Catalan nationalists always refer to the maximum-ever size of this kingdom). The word "country" should be removed - this area is no country, and it was never one. ---zeno
Enough. Most people on this reality would agree Roussillon is part of Catalan cultural area, ut since 1659 it has no political relations south of the border. So if you want to set up an article on 'north catalonia' you are free to do so and link it as you pleae to Catalonia or Roussillon articles, but please, refrain from renaming the article again.
Well, right now the articel makes NO sense any more, as it has the same content as the one named Rousillon. (but it did not have when I wrote my first comment) --zeno
