WP:NURSE priority review[edit]

As part of a review of all nursing wikiproject articles, I have changed this article's importance to mid per Wikipedia:WikiProject Nursing/Assessment#Importance scale. I have also added Start class. If you disagree, please leave a note here so we can discuss it. Cheers, Basie (talk) 05:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Links comment[edit]

The first link no longer works to any care planning material. The commercial links need to indicate that they are subscriber only. Merge proposal, October 2016[edit]

I propose that Care map be merged into Nursing care plan. Comments are welcome here. Biogeographist (talk) 16:30, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Alternatively, and perhaps more appropriately, Care map could be merged into Clinical pathway. In fact, Care map was originally created in September 2009 by User:Jheald as a redirect to Clinical pathway, before being changed into a stub by User:Cowcilll in January 2011 for reasons that are not clear to me. I agree with the second suggestion. Nursing care plan appears to refer to guidance provided for nurses in their work, while care mapping is more akin to developing clinical pathways, which is a positive evaluation (used for cost-effectiveness, for example) rather than a normative teaching tool. I also agree with the second suggestion (merge to Clinical pathway), which I realized was more appropriate soon after I made the original proposal. I will move this discussion to Talk:Clinical pathway#Merge proposal, October 2016; please make any further comments there. Biogeographist (talk) 21:11, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
