I'd be happy to make edits to improve this article, however as an employee of NetApp, who own and write the ONTAP code, I'm concerned that this may contravene the editing rules.

Before I do so, I'll put up my proposed edits, and give a list of external sources etc to improve the overall quality of the article.

I doubt that anyone else is reading this talk page, but if you are and are interested in improving or updating this page, and you dont have any potential conflicts of interest, I'd be happy to work with you or provide any background material you might need to do so.
