Clean up

I have started a clean-up of this page, specifically the moving and conjoining of the two sections of Apple Computers. The article still has the feel of an advert for Apple in places though. There still seems to be a lot of bias in the article, such as the band being considered one of the best. Also, parenthesis is used quite substantially on info that may not be particularly necessary, such as what previous teachers may be doing now. Vandalism

I just reverted several changes to take the article back to the article I did earlier today. I did check all intermediate drafts, and they were growing progressively more vandalised, adding rubbish about Thomas Edison being head teacher, and how students mutated into rhinos.--TimothyJacobson (talk) 00:09, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Elonka. Having just looked at the page now, it seems completely different to 24 hours ago. A lot of the stuff is missing (but that was mainly Apple adverts and erroneous details) and pretty much everything that is there is cited. For now, I'm going to leave it as it is, but if people want to add to it, they are more than welcome to --TimothyJacobson (talk) 01:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Glad you like it! Ioeth and I did some quick {{rescue}} on it. If you do have time to work on it, the main thing that would help the article at this point, would be more third-party sources, so we're not relying so heavily on just the school's own website. Perhaps there was a newspaper article somewhere about the Apple award? --El on ka 03:01, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

School vandalism cleanup

As a followup on the recent vandalism, I contacted the school, and they will be disciplining the six students who were involved with the vandalism (and were able to note that a seventh student was trying to repair things). The school has temporarily blocked all student access to Wikipedia. If there is any further problem from the Stillwater School District, please contact their abuse department, at abuse@stillwater.k12.mn.us, and they will take care of things.
