Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this personality is a co-founder of Femen. The group is widely well-known. --81.80.184.144 (talk) 14:33, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Oksana Shachko is one of the founders of the FEMEN group, very famous and well know worldwide. Her name and group are in countless articles and news all over the world and online. I see no reason at all why this was tagged like this, for fast deletion other that some groups or individuals that might be interested in wiping out her memory. --Leonardo (talk) 14:35, 24 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion and attacks on the article

[edit]

Hi deletion is of course out of the question, given the notoriety of Schachko as a feminist activist and artist (icon painter). Please note that on the francophone wiki we've had also an intervention on the page itself saying the the new added informations were shocking. We do not know who posted this. --Nattes à chat (talk) 05:44, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

explanation

[edit]

An associate who profiled her in The Paris Review wrote that she preferred the transliteration "Oxana". I changed the spelling to reflect that, added two alternate transliterations to the {{infobox}}.

Should the article's name be changed? Geo Swan (talk) 13:12, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, it should not because we should follow WP:Common name - this is easy to check through Google. My very best wishes (talk) 04:24, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
