Hello, I am responsible for the German article concerning Operation Achilles. There are casualties in your table about the Afghan forces as well as about the Talibans. Could someone please let me know where you can find the sources to this information. Thanks a lot. --Memnon335bc 02:32, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I'm not sure what the sources and the terms of this casualty count actually are. It appears that the recent deaths of various Afghan police officers in various parts of Afghanistan were included in the new update (Mar 11 by Keith Lind). I note that these police are not actually the same as the "Afghan National Army", nor is this necessarily a part of Operation Achilles, however. What will be done to address this issue? I agree. So far I have only found 2 British soldiers as well as 4 afghani militias and 5 Taliban that have come to death in direct connection to Operation Achilles. The other casualties seem to have occured in completely different parts of the country. So to say: the toll is absolutely incorrect. --Memnon335bc 00:51, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No official death toll has been released so far for the Taliban. Someone should edit the casualties figures.
