Casualties[edit]

I see a Turkish source talking about casualties. Well that should be pointed out who declared them, as they could be work of propaganda (usual phenomenon in military conflicts). See example box in 2006 Lebanon War about Hezb Allah victims --TheFEARgod (Ч) 20:42, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But they have multiple contradicting sources there. As long as there is no dispute on numbers, I don't think we should show it as if there were disputes. What you did was adding OR, imo. Also a government's statement is quite reliable in real life and here (politician's opinion not necessarily), but it might a primary source, so we might need to be careful. We have too many "Turkey announced"s, as well. DenizTC 13:59, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
as long as only one side gives such info on the other, it should be noted for NPOV's sake. Well, the Turkish losses are self-disclosed they don't need such notification. --TheFEARgod (Ч) 20:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
NPOV does not dictate us to create opposing views. If something is not opposed, then it is not opposed. Also, like I said before, "Turkey announced"s are used excessively. DenizTC 16:29, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where are the sources? ? ? Please translate them too. I would like to also see other sources because one source may be biased (129.21.71.50 (talk) 19:18, 14 February 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Not the way I would have expected it[edit]

I know Saddam Hussein's government was relentless with enemies. How could they have just let the Turks march in? I know they haten the Kurds, but would'nt they do something about foreign troops on their own soil without their permission? Its just not like Saddam. Reenem (talk)
