Corrections[edit]

Compared the following advice, inserted into the article by 69.162.168.122, to the official game results:

The 1979 bowl game was Oklahoma v. Nebraska, Not Oklahoma v. Florida State...
The 1980 bowl game was Oklahoma v. Florida State, Not Oklahoma v. Miami...
The 1981 bowl game was Oklahoma v. Florida State, Not Oklahoma v. Miami

The 1979, 1980 and 1981 game results were indeed listed wrong in the article and have been corrected. jareha 15:41, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Missing[edit]

Should include something about the Orange Bowl Parade (which was shut down in 2002) see: this link
Should also include information about the Orange Bowl Committee and the various activities they are responsible for (the game being one of them)

Orange Bowl originally started in 1933 and was known as Palm Festival. The first game was played on January 2, 1933 featuring manhattan College and University of Miami. Miami won 7 - 0 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.138.229.133 (talk) 16:15, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Tie ins[edit]

How was the Big Eight Conference a tie in when it was dissolved after the 1995 season? NThomas (talk) 19:46, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Recent History[edit]

A recent history of the Orange Bowl needs to be written to reflect the fairly recent demolition of the Orange Bowl and the construction of the Miami Ballpark on the same plot of land. -- ℐℴℯℓ ℳ. ℂℌAT ✐ 16:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
