Comment[edit]

The Georgian volume of The Genealogical Families of the Russian Empire, authored by Prince Chikovani, does not trace the Orbeliani family so far back in history. Genealogical legends need very good sourcing. --Ghirla -трёп- 09:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Also this-"his descendants, on their dwindled estates, stayed prominent in Georgia and even the USSR.". Is there supposed to be a connection between the Orbeli's and the Orbelians?--Eupator 13:32, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I see a Georgian theme in the article that is not referenced. Please could anyone reference the Georgian connection of Orbelians please. Dehr (talk) 21:27, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
