It sounds as if he died from a ruptured Cerebral aneurysm. Has there been a modern diagnosis? Xxanthippe (talk) 03:57, 31 March 2011 (UTC).

From John Harper's article in the online New Grove: "The doctors described precisely his coma and final seizure, attributed at the post mortem to a brain haemorrhage." That's certainly close. Antandrus (talk) 04:07, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
