South-East Middlesex[edit]

The article states that Ossulstone covered the south-east of the county (meaning Middlesex). It goes on to state that it included Finchley, Friern Barnet and Hornsey. Surely this is a contradiction. Coyets (talk) 10:22, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its pretty much south east, given the odd shape of the units involved. [1] MRSCTalk 09:18, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ossulstone was the south-eastern part of the traditional county of Middlesex. Most of Ossulstone was absorbed by London. Finchley, Frien Barnet and Hornsey are the northern remnants of Ossulstone that remained in Middlesex after the County of London was created. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.232.171 (talk) 15:03, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Divisions[edit]

The article states 'In the 17th century the hundred was split into four divisions...' but five are listed in the table: an error, or was one created later? Jackiespeel (talk) 09:49, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
