outdoors does not always mean wilderness. for some applications it means "in harder conditions than indoors". it needs some point. (talk) 19:03, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Inappropriate redirection[edit]

This page Outdoors redirects to Environment (biophysical), but I think that's not the right place. Outdoor redirects to Wilderness which has been mentioned in this talk page before.

I think it might be best to have a short article here, referring to concepts of the outdoors mainly by comparison to "indoor", and then linking to the various others. Outdoor should redirect here.

Outdoors as activities?[edit]

Shouldn't this article be about outdoors activities in general? I notice looking at this page's history, it seems to have been redirected to pages about outside environment and so on before being redirected to Wiktionary entry for this term. I was looking for article that talks about outdoors activities in general and landed here first. --Legion (talk) 18:36, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
