Shellys has now closed and Debenhams and John Lewis are on Oxford Street not Oxford Circus in fact Debenhams is nearer the Bond Street tube station then the Oxford Circus one so have moved them from the list Penrithguy (talk) 17:38, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oxford Street was originally Oxford Road; the road taken to go to Oxford. The Circus takes its name from the Street.--DavidCane (talk) 11:44, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
