Rehman[edit]

didn't know rehman came from pakistan, an excellent football player for PSV eindhoven or borussia dortmund

Zesh Rehman has never played outside England at club level. You must be confusing him for another Rehman.

Fixtures & Results[edit]

I think this section should be removed as it is a rather long list for a page that is just a general subject about the national team. The fixtures and results can also be found on Pakistan national football team results‎

Salman Sharida[edit]

Apparently Salman Sharida has now left the post of coach of Pakistan and has instead gone to coach Muharraq Club back in Bahrain. Reasons cited were a contract dispute with Bahraini Football Association who were financing his fees and weren't willing to pay him more. PFF has apparently appointed local lad Muhammed Rasheed as de-facto coach of the senior side and is busy coaching the Pakistan U21 side for Olympic QualifiersSuprah™ 23:49, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

National home stadium[edit]

Given the fact that most of Pakistan's current international football matches have been centred around the Punjab Stadium in Lahore which also houses the main Pakistan Football Federation offices, it is safe to assume that this stadium, and not the Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad is the national stadium for the Pakistan football team. I have reverted the edits stating the Pakistan national team is nicknamed "the currys" and the stadium is called "stad de bomb" - looking at the user who made the edits hes been doing the same thing previusly and is on a final warning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.202.236.184 (talk) 20:51, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
