Explanation[edit]

What does that mean: the oldest Karbala in the city? Karbala is a name of a city, where Imam Husain was martyred and buried, and I think the word Karbala couldn't be used in that case. So it should be changed to Hussainia or something else. -- Maitham Ali (talk) 14:18, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

In Indian Subcontinent Karbala apart from meaning city of Karbala also means local grounds where Tazieh are buried during Ashoora or Arbaeen, usually such grounds will have shabeeh (copy) of Rauza or some other structures.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 05:55, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Could you add that information please? to let non-Indian readers understand the meaning of Karbala in that case. -- Maitham Ali (talk) 07:20, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I'll add a note stating that info.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 07:30, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Done!--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 07:33, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Added sub-section Indian subcontinent to Karbala article explaining the meaning of Karbala in Indian context in detail. Linked Karbala in present article to that of Karbala-sub-section.--Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 10:24, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Great job dear brother, it's perfect now. By the way, I'm working on writing biographies articles of Shi'a scolars in the Arabic Wikipedia, and I wrote Mirza Muhammad Kamil Dehlavi, and I was planning to translate some articles related to it such as Panja Sharif and Kashmiri Gate. So thank you very much for helping me. -- Maitham Ali (talk) 15:50, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
