The Pun in the Title[edit]
A better translation of the pun in the title Un éléphant ça trompe énormément would be: An elephant trumpets enormously. While trompe may also mean 'trunk', I don't think that meaning fits the pun as well as to trumpet, which would then allow the pun to be translated into English.
