First sequence non-standard?[edit]

I thought the first sequence was generally considered to be the RLE of the previous number: 1 11 21 1211 111221 312211 13112221 etc --Jaded-view (talk) 05:59, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Duplicate?[edit]

This pattern is already in Wikipedia Look-and-say_sequence --geordee (talk) 11:24, 30 June 2011 (UTC)

Similar analysis and creation[edit]

The Look-and-say sequence and the Pea pattern are created similarly. The first (seed) value creates each and every other value in the sequence. Their analysis seems alike.

These pages are similar to the Fibonacci sequence. I did come across John Conway as the original author of the "Look-and-say sequence" but I could not find an author or other referenced article (on the Internet) for the "Pea Pattern."
