In the article, it says that pegleg bates was survived by an only child, a daughter. I lived in Kerhonkson until the fifth grade (Spring 1958) Pegleg Bates' son Norman Bates was a classmate of mine. Can anyone explain this discrepancy? Was Norman deceased? 69.20.173.52 (talk) 06:51, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
