– Regardless of Capcom's previous indecision about the use/misuse of colons in this game series' titles, it appears that the current localization and marketing teams have settled on this naming scheme for the new Ace Attorney games (see Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice) and have retroactively applied it to the older games in official press releases since at least 2014 [1] [2]. Prior discussions of this move have ended in no consensus because of said lack of cohesion in official sources but now there seems to be a unified "correct" answer which has the added benefit of matching the later games. • Support per nominator and for consistency. Wani (talk) 15:39, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support since hyphens are now being used on a consistent basis I see no readon to use the second colon.--67.68.163.254 (talk) 21:00, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Capcom's way of styling the titles has been consistent since Dual Destinies in 2013, and has even been applied on previous releases. WP:NAMINGCRITERIA says to aim for consistency between similar articles' titling, so I see no reason not to go ahead with the move.--IDVtalk 01:42, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Clearly the latter games have set a precedent. --MASEM (t) 14:21, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Shall we change the hyphen type from this (-) to that (–), as in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All? George Ho (talk) 16:24, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It would likely depend on what one of these the sources use.--67.68.163.254 (talk) 00:45, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
*sigh* Looks like both hyphen and n-dash are used interchangeably within the same Capcom website (e.g. [3]). In the absence of a clear ruling, I'm leaning toward hyphen since it's easier to type (insert handwavey WP:ACCESS concerns or something here). Axem Titanium (talk) 22:30, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • No comment on the above RM, but I do believe the en dash should be used instead of the hyphen based on our manual of style despite whatever usage in sources (most of which don't know how to use an en dash anyway) I am no longer watching this page—ping if you'd like a response czar 01:26, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
