I checked this word in the dictionary, and I am not sure that it exists. --Adam 15:50, 16 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Can't find anything. The only things coming up on web-searches is this wiki article and another "medical" article which is apparently using the wikipedia defination (as in it's copied word for word FROM wikipedia not the other way round.) --RBlowes 00:02, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Its definitely a real thing, it is a chemical; a complex 2D Phosphorus alotrope, similar to Graphene structurally. People are excited by this material because, unlike graphene, it has a band-gap. Ergo, it opens the door to new semi conductor technologies and holds a lot of promise in the field of material science. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:D:5480:3D4:4C62:4070:8798:8769 (talk) 00:12, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article was moved from phosphorenes but kept following this AFD debate. Sjakkalle (Check!) 10:45, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
